YES WOW! I now completely understand this new R&D Scamp Bording System....Now we know where Howard gets his ideas from....If a dumb dog can do that...Well I am sure Scampers will have no problem now....No sweat at all.
That dog look awful happy to me. Right HappyDog?

Thanks Simeon You made my day.
My dog is smarter than me! I guess I'm just a dumb sailor
Nice job everyone! Of course after a knockdown there will be water in the boat but it does not look like it would make much difference as to heel, as these things are so stable and water in the cockpit stays pretty much centered. Bravo Howard!
SCAMP will have some water on the cockpit sole after a capsize whether in waves or flat water. The amount in either case does not seem to be a big issue. She will have more water in waves and wind and is designed to allow the sailor to re-enter and sail away without immediate bailing. She will have yet more water aboard if she is fully loaded for cruising but still be able to sail away from a capsize.
This important sail away capability is demonstrated in the "SCAMP Capsize" video Josh posted on tube. There may be a capsize situation off of a lee shore or in shipping traffic, etc where up and sailing away is priority.
Any water in the cockpit will be free surface thus potentially dangerous and should be bailed as soon as feasible.
