Machine translation doesn't master all languages that well, and Finnish is one of them. Google uses words "wood processing (industry)", "woodcutter", "patience on sand (like when standing or sunbathing on it)" and "epoxy fillets (in sense food)", and did some serious grammar errors (like "I have been the wood processing" instead of "I have been woodworking"). Well, my English is far from perfect but I assume it makes more sense than Google translation from English to Finnish.
Anyway, it's great to read about your experiences and thoughts. Birdsmouth must be a challenging thing to do. In my case there is going to be an extra challenge about choosing the wood as we don't have douglas fir here (siberian larch or dense pine or dense spruce might be the alternatives).
I agree that learning new skills is great always.
