Fellow Scampers,
I realize Longsteps is still in development, but the following questions are keeping me up at night. My wife thinks I need therapy, but I tell her, "no honey, the guys on the forum can offer all the therapy I need and they're free" So your thought would be greatly appreciated:
(Howard and John, if you are reading this from the Cape Horn, your insights are greatly appreciated and our prayers for safety are with you)
1-How would all of you compare Longsteps to Scamp as a solo or 2 person boat?
2-Might Longsteps row better than Scamp, based on its designed length?
3-Might the oars store within the cockpit without breaking them down?
4-Will the rig store within the length of the boat? Anyone know the mast length?
5-Does Longsteps appear too large for all the reasons we all love small boats or is it just right?
Best-
Brent

Re: Longsteps vs Scamp
Ok, these are some of the same questions I had/have still.
Does Long Steps have a taller veranda to sit under? The Scamp's you have to sit awkwardly, slumped if taller than say 5'7".
Does the cockpit floor slope 'away' from the veranda so it stays drained and dry for sitting under?
