Amazing SCAMP art

Post by dndrich »

I have slowed a bit in my building lately for a variety of reasons. Nonetheless, the build of SCAMP #330 continues. A local artist, Patrick Amiot, was commissioned by my wife to make an amazing sculpture for my birthday. He is famous apparently all over the country, but particularly in Canada. Locally he does huge whimsical junk art outdoor sculptures. But, he also does ceramics. Here is the present that greeted me today. I am sailing in Tomales Bay locally, with my dog Flash (passed away in January), with the Tilley hat. All I can say is, wow.

That's awesome, Daniel. Can we post one of these photos on our Scamp Facebook page?

The smaller the boat the bigger the adventure.
