Hi SCAMPers.
On my built I am near the point of installing my bronze oarlock mounts on the coamings. From my dry fitting it feels like 16-18 aft from the veranda edge is about right.
I would appreciate any thoughts on the from any of you with direct experience with this.

I wish I mounted mine an inch or two further aft than I did, I've hit my head on the veranda a couple times when I'm REALLY laying back.
Mine are placed on the deck puzzle scarf joint (kit boat).

I went by the location marked on the plans (sheet 8), and no complaints so far.
