Wondering if builders or GH Scamp buyers who sold their boats went on to buy or build a Long Steps design?
Did you find the Long Steps 'so much faster' that it was the deciding factor?
Is the Long Steps as manageable by one's self as a Scamp, dockside or underway?
Comfort issues?
Quirks of the Long Steps design?
If you sold your Scamp did you build a Long Steps?

Re: If you sold your Scamp did you build a Long Steps?
John Welsford designer’s build is almost finished but not in the water.
Phil McCowin in Boise Idaho did a concurrent build, NFRTT, and beat John to the water. Phil’s build is now a on-water “beta” and he sailed it in the Texas 200 this year and then traileredit to the Pacific Nortwest to sail in the Salish 100 cruise. It’s a stunning design of a designer’s purpose-built boat and early indications are that it is a winner.
Note that Phil’s blue SCAMP is still in his fleet and I don’t think he has any intentions of selling her.
