Good morning - adding the mast box ramp. This is something most of you won't need to do as the plans and current kits have been modified to include the ramp. I have an early kit and had already build my mast box so it needed to be modified to include the new ramp. The fact that I raised my roof and had to extend my mast box upwards probably made adding the ramp easier

Back to the gunwales. I found these to be quite tricky to do alone as the wood does not want to stay it these off shapes. I am sure there are easier ways to do this.

Thanks for the detailed methodology on adding the gunwales. That info will come in very helpful for the SCAMP Camp 3 builders and others that are getting to that stage.
I'm not sure if the steaming is necessary for all woods, like spruce in 20x30 dimensions, but for a solo builder it would definitely take the place of an extra pair of hands and make for a much cleaner install
