Before the mast...
there was a BIG BIG board...
then a big pile of sticks.

And, today was the big "turnover" day for #74. With the help of Simeon. Tim, Todd and Bette "Humu" was successfully placed upside down. As they would say in Hawaiian we "huli da bugga."

Added Simeon's comments: Arlie & his son Todd, with help from friend Tim, and Todd' long suffering spouse Betty, turned SCAMP #74, Humu, this morning.
I, and Brandy the pooch, provided nominal support.

Arlie & Tom have a set of wonderfully milled Sitka Spruce staves for the mast construction.

A great job being done. This will be the first SCAMP I'll see with batteries instead of the water ballast.
