How did you decide on the water level divide, between the blue and white. She is looking great.

Hi David,

It's an educated guess based on DWL. The blue bottom color comes up 2" over the DWL. Apparently SCAMP will need to displace 955 lbs to sit on her DWL. A couple of people, gear and the 173 pounds of water ballast.

Shots of SCAMP from today. First coat of paint on deck and cabin. One closeup of the brilliant detailing on the hollow spruce mast. Lead is in place on the centerboard. Rudder and stock getting paint. Lots of expert craftspeople to thank, but I'll do that more formally later.
