It was pointed out to us that on plan sheet #3, the construction detail shows the cabin sides coming down inside the carlins and being attached with screws. This was based on one of the first plans drawn by John W., but is no longer how the boat goes together.
In actuality, the cabin side should slide down inside deck (notching out for forward portion to sit on top of deck) and sit on the carlins where it will be glued and filleted. There won't be enough depth to bring it down inside the carlins, and it's not necessary.
We'll make a change to the next manual and plans versions, but I wanted to post this in case anyone is at that stage and unsure.—Josh

The smaller the boat the bigger the adventure.

Re: Cabin Sides Addendum Coming
Ha ha so maybe I didn't screw up. This a good example for a plan builder to dry fit. I got the sides to fit after some adjustments. Mine is one of the earlier sets of plans.
