SCAMP #140 is close to hitting the water. If the weather holds and I can complete the most crucial items on the to-do list, we're hoping for next weekend. One of those items is naming the boat! It's been decided that #140 will be christened “Honoria G”. (In deference to the P G Wodehouse character…) Since this is a bit of a mouthful, I expect she will need an appropriate nickname for day-to-day life...

SCAMP #320 with any luck will splash this summer. My grandkids have always called me one of Lostboys from Peter Pan, so I thought it only fitting that #320 be christened "Tootles". The one who lost his marbles.

Scamp # 397 " Nordic", a nod to her praam bow, banana sheer, lapstrake planking and a little bit of my heritage

SCAMP No. 461 based in Taranaki, on the West coast of the North Island of New Zealand, to be named 'Red Dwarf' Inspired by a British TV comedy
series about the crew of a mining spaceship which was completely Red.
My Scamp has a red hull with red sails. So 'Red Dwarf' is my little spaceship.
