Eastern (Mid-Atlantic) Messabout

Hello All,
I'm hoping that this will catch the eyes of folks on the East Coast And especially anyone building a Scamp .. we'd love to hear of one, and better yet, see it and sail with you.
A few of us are pulling together a messabout this year (2011) after having skipped 2010. More than 40 folks have logged in in just over a month so far and early nose count is a dozen, with more than a dozen boats.

Preference seems to be for Elk Neck State Park, MD on June 3-4-5. I've sailed there and it a great site; we're waiting for the Park to respond to a couple of questions before making it "official". As you'll see, there's a good range of boats .. sail, row & paddle .. powered is welcome too. Mostly home built or rehabbed. Strictly informal messing about .. maybe a raft-up for lunch across the water to Cabin John Creek; possibly a PuddleDuck race or two.
There are more details and many posts on the Yahoo Group .. consider yourself invited !
BTW, my family renewed my subscription to SCA last month ! That and a porta-potty made for holiday gifts.
Fair winds & favorable tides.
