possibly buying a boat tonight

Post by Art Haberland »

Will keep everyone informed, but I have a chance to get my grubby little hands on something built of 'glass, double ended, and rare in the states. I will fill everyone in later tonight if it goes well

sadly I never even got a chance to go look. I was expecting a large crate to be delivered to my house this morning. The freight company called a little while ago and the driver will not be here till around 6. The boat is an hour and change away from me.

The owner works days, I work evenings, and tomorrow is my Monday. I hope it will still be there next week

seeing as it the deal appears to have fallen through. I was looking at Drascombe Scaffie. Beautiful little boat that had spent the last 20+ years in the same family.

Very nice small boat! I really like the traditionnal sail. Looks very roomy for the size too. To bad she slipped away!

Nice small boat. That would be a fun one.
