Hi,
I am planning a trip down Labyrinth Canyon on the Green river in Utah. It is a flat water, 50 mile segment of the Green river. Launch at Ruby ranch, take out a Mineral Bottom.
It should be a nice leisurely trip, with 3 or 4 nights and 4 or 5 days on the river. This is an unsupported wilderness trip with no facilities other than camp sites so you need to be self sufficient. This is a popular trip and you need reservations ( used to limit traffic ).
It is normally a canoe or kayak trip but I am planning on using my Northeaster Dory. It is not a sailing trip, just paddle or row.
67 miles by road from launch site to retrieval site, with 2 15 mile sections of gravel roads with last sections being single track dirt. Mineral Bottom can only be reached via a single track cliff hugging road that drops about 1500 feet in a mile or so.
Practical limit is about 5 or 6 boats due to accessible space at retrieval.
Probably late April, early May or October.
