Suffering is a relative term for most. While in the process, it truly is a chore, but once a fine finish displays your handy work, the pain magically disappears. It also depends on what type of builder you are. There are two general types; those that enjoy the process and the ones that prefer the end results. I know many of both; piano builders and "rat rod" sailors alike. Most of us would like to be piano builders, but don't have the patience or skill sets, let alone the time, so we eventually accept some level of work boat finish we can live with or in reality, what our elbows will permit.

hmmm. Wonder my pics are so big here.

Anyway, sadly Par I am the kind of guy who enjoys the process. While I am working to get Flirt back into the water this spring for the first time in years, It's the work itself that I get the most gratification from

the size is their native resolution. hotlinking into a post commonly causes strange posting results.
