Too bad because I am sure that his adventure could have been interesting to watch.
Not to preach but it is always better not to pan too much, zoom to a minimum, make short static scenes and.....If you use a Gopro, don't use the maximum wide angle that makes the world turn concave and bend mast and shrouds! And....(2) the Youtube stabiliser can make a viewer sea sick!
The steady cam arm is also a skill that gets better with practice.

I took some videos of me sailing the Lusty Slogger. They look like I took them from the top of the mast of a 65 foot schooner in a gale!!!!!
