Spark is home!

Post by Art Haberland »

After finally getting my trailer parts back and assembled (more or less) I got Spark out of storage and onto my side yard for some much needed work. I am not doing anything serious to her hull, just a quick sand off of all loose paint and a slap of fresh over it to keep the ply safe for the small amount of time she will be in the water this year.

Best I can tell from the Division of parks and recreation sticker on her side, Spark has not seen the water since 1981. She was obviously put away wet though, to go by the dried mold on her bottom.

Hopefully tomorrow I can show off a freshly painted bottom!
