impressed with bronze against aluminum

Post by Art Haberland »

I was planning on originally replacing all of spark's hardware with bronze, but in seeing how well the bronze works in contrast with the silvery metal, I like it a lot.

Her spars are done, getting raised today on the trailer to see how they look. Next is running rigging and bending the sails on

Bronze and aluminum don't play well together. Safer using stainless (not perfect) or aluminum screws (depends on loads expected).

sadly you are correct. I just do not have time to do anything about it right now. Running out of time. Still looks pretty
