So when you get to daydreaming, what boat comes to mind? Lately for me I've had trouble shaking the Cape Cutter 19. —JC

No kidding. For a few months there was one tied up near my brother's boat in Elliott Bay Marina. Apparently the design started as a plywood hull. If my garage were bigger it certainly would be a candidate for my next boat.

Not that I need another boat, but if one of these came near....

I dream of a boat that doesn't need rebuilding, recoring, or any other major work.

G'day,
I know just where you are coming from with that daydream. I have always had keelboats but decided to downsize - more fun less cost! So I had the lines of the Cape Cutter 19 pinned to the fridge door with a magnet until, one day, I paced out my workshop, found one would just fit, and started building. I'm happy to share some photos if you think you might want to go for it too.
Cheers,
Ian
