Inflatable Solar Lantern LUCI COLOR
These ultra-light, waterproof, solar-powered LED LUCI lanterns already had an impressive reputation before we'd ever heard of them, serving as an alternative to kerosene lanterns in developing parts of the world. But it was Race to Alaska legend Roger Mann who turned us on to them, as we noticed the two neat little inflated lanterns tied to the stern of his sailing kayak before the big race. As he pointed out, they're pretty perfect for small boats as they are waterproof, they float, they can be collapsed down to the size of wallet, and they weigh almost nothing (4 oz). The solar panel on the top will charge fully in 8 hours of sunshine and offer 12 hours of light on the super bright setting. The lanterns feature 10 LEDs and offer three settings: bright, super bright, and flashing. The lanterns have tie-off points on top and bottom. And these are the color versions. From their website:
Why settle for one color when you can have eight? Choose the mood by setting a color, or cycle through them all in sequence. Like all Luci lights, it's waterproof, lightweight and completely solar. So go ahead, throw it in the pool, bring it to that concert, and turn your kid's bathtime into playtime. Just the right accessory to deck out your dorm room, or string some together and take your party to the next level. Home decor never looked so colorful.
