Smart Bottle Outdoor — Flexible Container for Water and Liquids

We just recently learned about these so-called Smart Bottles—stout, puncture-resistant, double-walled plastic (BPA free) bottles that hold up to a gallon of liquid but can be rolled down to almost nothing when empty. They also feature grommets for hanging or securing in place, and integral handles and a screw cap spout for easy pouring. We can think of all kinds of potential uses for them on small boats—from water storage to showering, drinkable water ballast, etc. The manufacturer tested their Smart Bottles in a drop test from various heights. The 1-gal survived a 15 ft drop. Small-boat adventurer Howard Rice saw their utility at once and will be carrying six Smart Bottles on his voyage to Tierra del Fuego in his SCAMP.
