More Kite Cam: Redwood City to Alviso

The San Francisco area Potter Yachters organized a sail from Redwood City to Alviso Oct. 9, 2010. Nine boats participated in the history making event. Six completed the voyage all the way to the new Alviso boat ramp and the three others sailed back home from Calavaras Point, near the mouth of Alviso Slough.

We enjoyed a wide range of conditions and a great group of sailors. Some of the interesting parts were documented from Lia’s kite. You’ll probably cringe when you see how I tried my best to decorate the Dumbarton R.R. Bridge with my new kite!—Jerry Higgins
